Sa-wad-dee-ka! (Hello in Thai)

We are exchange students from Thailand!! My real name is Samita Ua-arunchote, but everybody knows as Sammie. I live in Belding, Michigan. And this is Nittawan Choosong or you can call me Bew, and she lives in Washington State.

The first thing that we had done today was visited many memorial such as Korean War, Vietnam War, Martin Luther King, Lincoln, Jefferson and FDR. We saw a lot of cool building and I really love it. And I’m so happy today because I really want to come to Washington DC since I was in Thailand. The city is even better than I thought plus the weather is so nice. It was pretty interesting to see different memorials, and know the history at the same time.

Next we went to Fashion Center at Pentagon city to have lunch and have some time to shop, and we really had a good time. Our favorite thing today is Mount Vernon which was George Washington’s home land. He has so many rooms and antiquated stuffs. The place around his house is so huge it has like many acres. We really excited!!! We really like the garden and field so we took a lot of cool pictures then we just hang out and take a little bit nap because the weather is so nice.

I'm a wizard!
And a giant!
And dinner this evening was at the Mount Vernon Inn. It is so good, we love the apple pie!!  :> We hope tomorrow will be fun too!
